Identify what creates the contour concern
The double chin surgery page discusses chin liposuction, isolated neck lift and radiofrequency-assisted treatment. These approaches do not address exactly the same features. The neck lift page also discusses skin laxity and muscle banding.
Describe whether your concern is fullness, loose skin, visible bands, chin projection or a combination. Examination is needed to work out which tissues contribute and what a proposed treatment could change.
Compare the extent of each option
Ask the surgeon to show where incisions would be placed and whether the plan includes fat removal, skin removal, muscle work or an implant. The practice also offers FaceTite and chin implants, which may enter a discussion of lower-face proportions but have distinct purposes.
- What can liposuction address in my case, and what would remain?
- Would skin laxity change the recommendation?
- Is a neck lift being proposed on its own or with a facelift?
- What recovery and scar differences should I compare?
Request a written description of the plan
A quote labelled chin or neck treatment may not explain the operative scope. Ask for the exact procedure names, anesthesia arrangements and follow-up visits. Compare alternatives using the same concerns and practical priorities rather than choosing by the shortest treatment name.
